After months of work, Speakaboos.com is finally live, and we are really excited to share it with everyone! Since we are in our “beta” phase, the site is of course a work in progress, and we will be uploading tons of new stories, games, and printouts within the next month. We are also working on new features like “Record Your Own,” which will be ready for our official launch in time for the new school year.We think that Speakaboos is something that all teachers and parents of young children should know about, and we hope that as one of our first users, you will help us spread the word to family and friends, and give us some feedback on how to make the site even better.Happy Reading!

Hi Jeanne,Thanks for the note! Record Your Own is definitely still in the works. Clearly we’ve missed our original launch date–it’s been delayed because we’ve been trying to figure out the best way to execute the concept as a web application. The framework is set, the main problem has just been the development–but we’re in the process of bringing in a new developer to remedy this.A lot of people have been asking about Record Your Own, and we’re really excited about its potential. I hesitate to put out a release date because of how off we were with the last one, but it is our #1 development priority and I expect it to be finished within a few months. When it’s ready, an update will be sent out via this blog as well as our member newsletter. Thanks again!
